How to increase the odds of a second date:
Have a positive conversation by asking questions about future plans. Forward speaking encourages communication to remain positive and allows your date to get a glimpse of what life would look like should you become a couple down the road.
Don’t share dating history/war stories. We do not want to invite our ex to your first date!
When you talk about your ex, you are guaranteed to diminish the opportunity for chemistry to build and most likely find yourself in negative territory for a future date. Show interest by putting your phone away! If you can’t disengage with your phone on a first date, then it shows disinterest or lack of respect for their time. When you show respect by prioritizing your date you increase the likelihood of a second date happening.
Lastly, be yourself and smile! Your date will know if you’re not being genuine and a smile goes a long way in building a positive rapport.
